Performance “Indomador”, Animal Religion
December 5 / 19.30–20.30 / Kanuti Gildi SAAL / 10/13 EUR
A grotesque parody of the modern human and the difference between the sexes that are culturally predeterminated. A scientist discovers his primitive instincts and transforms the laboratory into an “animalarium”. It questions the presence of human and animal, male and female, and the relationship between them. What is animal and what is human?
There are two members of Animal Religion – Finish musician and circus artist Nikolas Blomberg and Spanish circus artist Quim Giron. Animal Religion can be defined as a fusion of contemporary circus, dance and music, letting the themes of animality inspire them.
